Why I keep a now page

The /now page is the best feature of this site and it has no features. Four times a year I write what I’m actually doing — not what I’m positioning, not what I’m “excited to announce.”

The archive is the real product. Reading my own entries from two years ago is like meeting a slightly more tired version of myself and being able to tell him it works out.

If you have a site, add one. Derek Sivers started it; the bar is one honest paragraph.
